SALON POLICY

By booking an appointment, you are confirming that you have fully read our policy.

Booking Policy

We require a non-refundable deposit (which goes towards the total payment) and a card on file at the time of booking. Refusal to cooperate may result appointment cancellation and/or permanent ban from our services. Any downgrades to your appointment without 1 week notice will result in your original service/design price charge.

All services are set at a specific start and end time. If you need to leave BEFORE the end time of your appointment, we will have to simplify your service and you will be expected to pay for the full service amount. Please do not rush our technicians!

Late Policy

There is a grace period of 15 minutes for your appointment. If you are running late, please give us a call and we can let you know if we are able to assist you that day. Please note that you might be assigned another technician for your service if you are late and we have a $20 late fee for any arrival past our grace period. If we are not able to perform your choice of service/design because of time, you will still be charged the original service/design price. If we’re not able to assist you in the case that you are late, your appointment will count as a last minute cancellation and will be charged the last minute cancellation fee.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

DEPOSITS

We require a $40+tax non-refundable deposit at time of booking for all services. The deposit goes towards the final payment made after your service. For all services, we will require your card information on file in case of no/shows or last minute cancellations.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

  • Online Rescheduling: You can reschedule your appointment online up to 2 weeks before the scheduled time.

  • Cancellation with 2+ week notice: To cancel, please call or email us. Your deposit may be used as store credit for a future visit (new deposit required to redeem the credit)

  • Cancellation/Rescheduling within 1 Week:

    • You will lose half of your deposit. The remaining deposit is not eligible for redemption.

  • Cancellation/Rescheduling within 48 Hours:

    • The deposit is non-refundable and non-redeemable.

  • Cancellation/Rescheduling within 8 Business Hours:

    • You will be charged 50% of the service price as a last-minute cancellation fee. Your deposit will be applied towards this fee. Please view the service prices under “No Show Policy.”

  • Cancellation/Rescheduling within 2 Business Hours:

    • You will be charged 100% of the service price and considered a NO SHOW. Your deposit will be applied towards this fee. Please view the service prices under “No Show Policy.”

  • Repeated Rescheduling: If we notice frequent rescheduling of the same appointment (more than once), we may cancel it, forfeit your deposit, and ban you from future services.

  • Intricate Design: If you last minute cancel your intricate design, we will determine the service fee based on the inspiration photos you sent in advance.

SICK POLICY

If you are sick or have COVID, you must provide a doctors note prior to your original appointment time with your name and date and/or a picture of your positive COVID test with your full name and appointment date & time next to it. Otherwise, we will have to apply the policy.

If you want to avoid the deposit fee, you may also call us on the day of to make an appointment for any available technician. We do not require a deposit for same-day bookings made over the phone but still need a card on file in case of any last minute cancellations.

No-Show Policy

If you do not let us know in advance (during business hours) and don’t show up to your appointment (no-show), we will charge the full service price to the card on file as last minute cancellation fee. Please contact us in advance! If you last minute cancel/no show your intricate design, your full service price will be determined based on your inspiration photos.

Fix Policy

If you need to fix your nails or design, we offer a free fix if you reach out within 5 days of your appointment, including any issues related to chipping, charms falling off, and/or smudging that may have occurred in the application process during the time of service. This does not cover if your nails rip, tear, or break due to natural causes and/or excessive force and wear (ie: heavily handling objects, using your nail to open things, etc.) 

  • After 5 Days: Fixes requested after 5 days will incur the original fee for each design or nail.

  • Technician: Note that you might not be assigned the same technician for fix-up appointments.

  • Design Changes: Any changes to the design will not be free of charge.

  • Satisfaction: By leaving the salon, you agree that you are satisfied with the service provided.

Our fix appointment only apply to gel-related services originally done by us. We do not offer fixes from outside work. Fixes do not apply to regular polish due to its nature. To arrange a fix-up appointment, please email or call us.

Tip Policy

We try our best to provide the best service. If at any point you are not satisfied, please let us know at any time during or after your appointment so we can try to help. Standard preferred gratuity percentage is 20% - 25%. 

Age Requirements

Our salon will NOT perform nail enhancement services to minors under the age of 16 unless the parent or guardian comes in and signs our waiver. We do not offer discounted kids manicure/pedicure services or prices.

Please note that any young children and toddlers must be accompanied by another parent or guardian who is not getting a service done. We do not allow children to run around nor disrupt our salon and deserve the right to refuse service.

Liability Disclaimer

Krystal Oh Nails is not responsible for any irritations, allergic reactions, or adverse effects caused by gel products. Clients are encouraged to communicate any known allergies to our salon prior to booking an appointment.

Pets Policy

We do not allow any pets in our premises. Service dogs are allowed.

Cellphone Policy

Please be respectful when using your cellphones. Any loud talking, shouting, etc. is not allowed at our salon. Please keep your hands on the manicure table during your service, as dust and oils may accumulate on your nails easily if you don’t.

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

We do not offer refunds for services. If you are unsatisfied with your service, we can fix/change it (Please see “Fix Policy”). For gift certificates or memberships, the refund window is 10 days and must be unused.  Any used gift certificates/memberships are non-refundable.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone with an open or infected wound on the service area, or with conditions that we suspect may be contagious. We will not provide services to rude or disrespectful customers. Disputes, chargeback claims, and anything of such matter will result in a permanent ban from our services. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to all our policies, including but not limited to our deposit and no show policies.

Late Payment Policy

Any late payments will result in an automatic 20% service charge added to the total cost. No exceptions.
